The best way to get your WordPress plugins discovered is to add them to the official repo: https://wordpress.org/plugins/developers/

Durring first upload I got things like this:
Error: The plugin has failed the automated checks. Please correct the listed problems with your plugin and upload it again. You can also use the Plugin Check Plugin to test your plugin before uploading. If you have any questions about this please contact [email protected].

Results of Automated Plugin Scanning: Fail

  • README.txt ERROR outdated_tested_upto_header: Tested up to: 6.0 < 6.6. The "Tested up to" value in your plugin is not set to the current version of WordPress. This means your plugin will not show up in searches, as we require plugins to be compatible and documented as tested up to the most recent version of WordPress.
  • obj-renderer.php ERROR no_license: Your plugin has no license declared in Plugin Header. Please update your plugin header with a GPLv2 (or later) compatible license. It is necessary to declare the license of this plugin. You can do this by using the fields available both in the plugin readme and in the plugin headers.

Note: While the automated plugin scan is based on the Plugin Review Guidelines, it is not a complete review. A successful result from the scan does not guarantee that the plugin will be approved, only that it is sufficient to be reviewed. All submitted plugins are checked manually to ensure they meet security and guideline standards before approval.

Here are some of there other requirements:

any chance I can talk to someone? I don’t want to give everything out for free?
